How to set up a good looking shot in the frame. For some this comes naturally, for others it is a skill that can be learnt and practiced. There are a few helpful rules that you can bear in mind when composing your pictures.
1. The Rule of Thirds
This technique involves imagining that your frame is divided into three, vertically and horizontally, giving you four points where the lines cross known as the thirds. Avoid the tendency to place your subject in the centre of the frame - it almost always looks aesthetically more pleasing when placed on.....
